Acquisition Class machines
Broadhead
Physically, Broadheads are reminiscent of cattle, especially the Longhorn breed, displaying a pair of long, straight and horizontal horns likely used as tools and defense. A pair of rotary tools located below each horn help it convert plant matter into biofuel.
Charger
The Charger is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a small Acquisition Class machine. As such, its function is the gathering and recycling of resources. Herds of Chargers are commonly found in various tribal lands. A human equipped with the necessary technology can utilize a Charger as a mounted transport.
Glinthawk
The Glinthawk is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is an aerial Acquisition Class machine, one of two known aerial machines. Functionally Glinthawks are the aerial counterpart of Scrappers, scavenging destroyed machines. However, they were weaponized by their maker HEPHAESTUS and became a considerable danger to humans.
Grazer
The Grazer is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a small, deer-like Acquisition Class machine whose primary function is the production of Blaze from grass. Herds of Grazers are commonly found throughout the various tribes’ territories.
Lancehorn
The Lancehorn is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. A small Acquisition Class machine, its function is the gathering and recycling of natural resources. Herds of Lancehorns are found in the various tribal lands, particularly in snowy climates.
Rockbreaker
The Rockbreaker is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a large Acquisition Class machine, and one of of the largest known machines. It is unique among Acquisition Class machines and machines in general in that it is the only known machine capable of subterranean ambulation. Its main purpose is the underground mining of mineral resources. However with the onset of the Derangement, its huge size, power and subterranean ability have been turned toward attacking any human it senses walking the ground above it, with lethal results.
Scrapper
The Scrapper is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is the smallest of the Acquisition Class machines, whose function is the gathering and recycling of resources. However, it is also equipped with offensive weaponry that can be employed against perceived threats, such as encountered humans.
Snapmaw
The Snapmaw is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a medium-sized Acquisition Class machine, and the only machine known to be amphibious.[1] They were originally created as docile water purifiers as part of Zero Dawn. However, as a consequence of the Derangement, they have become a lethal danger to humans who pass within their sight at any body of water in which they are found.
Stider
The Strider is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a small Aquisition Class machine, equine in appearance and behavior. A human equipped with the necessary technology can utilize a Strider as mounted transport.
Trampler
The Trampler is a machine in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a medium sized Acquistion Class machine, tasked with the collection of mineral resources for use in the construction of new machines. Originally docile, Tramplers have become hostile toward humans with the onset of the Derangement, and they now aggressively attack any human they encounter.
